THE IDEA: Changing the Behavior
After a long and tiring day, people come home exhausted and mentally burdened. They often fall into routines that are unproductive—dropping their stuff down in a disorganized manner or immediately scrolling on their phones.
Critically, they struggle to make the mental transition from the outside world back into the home environment.
Problem
The Magic Coat Hanger is a socially interactive robot designed to help university students develop a ‘homecoming ritual,’ thus supporting a more restorative transition back into the home environment.
